BRIEF ITINERARY

Arrive at the Leh airport after a scenic flight over the Himalayas.

Meet our representative who will help you with your transfers to the hotel.

Complete the check-in formalities and rest for some time.

You can then spend the rest of the day at leisure.

We suggest you go for a short walk around your hotel, to acclimate yourself to the altitude better.

Overnight stay in Leh.

  • Breakfast in Leh.

  • Drive to Nubra Valley via Khardung La (5,359 m), one of the world’s highest motorable roads.

  • Pass along the scenic Shyok River.

  • Visit Diskit Monastery and the 106-ft Maitreya Buddha statue.

  • Explore Hunder Sand Dunes; optional camel or ATV rides (at own cost).

  • Check in to camp/hotel for an overnight stay in Nubra Valley.

  • Wake up to a beautiful sunrise and get ready for the day.
  • Today, we will visit the charming village of Turtuk.
  • You can then explore this beautiful village, surrounded by snow-clad mountains, on your own. Here, you can try fruits like apricots and walnuts, for which this place is well known.
  • Visit Thang Village, the last village on the India–Pakistan border.
  • As the day comes to an end, return to Nubra Valley, where you can indulge in a delicious dinner.
  • Overnight stay in hotel rooms in  Nubra.

  • Wake up in Nubra and drive towards Pangong Tso.

  • Pass through the scenic villages of Agam and Shyok.

  • Arrive at Pangong Lake (4,300 m), the world’s highest saltwater lake.

  • Relax by the lake and capture photos, including the famous 3 Idiots spot.

  • Check in to the lakeside campsite, enjoy dinner, and overnight stay near Pangong Lake.

  • Early morning sunrise at Pangong.

  • Drive towards Hanle village.

  • Pass through Chushul and visit Rezang La War Memorial (1962 Indo-China War tribute).

  • Lunch stop en route (time permitting).

  • Cross Loma Bridge over the Indus River and continue through scenic landscapes.

  • Check in to a homestay in Hanle, enjoy dinner, and overnight stay.

  • Distance and travel time: 200 km / approx. 6–7 hours.Breakfast at the homestay.
  • Begin your journey towards Umling La (19,024 ft.), the world’s highest motorable pass.Enjoy the scenic ride through the rugged terrain of Ladakh, reach Umling La, and take some time to soak in the breathtaking views.
  • Take photographs and explore the surroundings.
  • Descend back and head towards Nyoma.
  • Reach Nyoma (a serene, offbeat destination known for the 700-year-old Nyoma Monastery), check in, and then visit the monastery.
  • Dinner and overnight stay in Nyoma.

    • Distance and travel time: 270 km / approx. 8–9 hours.
    • Early morning departure from Nyoma after breakfast.
    • Drive to Tso Moriri Lake, the world’s highest Ramsar site and one of Ladakh’s most beautiful, less-crowded lakes.
    • Afterwards, visit Puga Valley, a fascinating geothermal wonderland.
    • Visit the Chumathang Hot Springs, renowned for their therapeutic properties, and then continue your drive towards Leh.
    • En route, visit Rancho School and Thiksey Monastery.
    • Reach Leh by evening, allowing time to relax and explore the local markets.
    • Dinner and overnight stay in Leh.

  • Wake up to a scenic morning in Leh.

  • Breakfast at the hotel and check-out.

  • Transfer to Leh Airport for your onward journey.

  • Depart with unforgettable Ladakh memories.
